Our passion for quality isn’t a recent development; it’s been a family tradition for over 100 years.
In 1981, founders Garry and Gladys Schuil decided to shift their focus from gourmet food to gourmet coffee and tea. In a just-emerging industry, Schuil Coffee Company became one of the first specialty coffee roasters in the United States.
Garry and Gladys imported, roasted, and packaged only the very best beans available. They believed educating their customers and providing a positive experience were as important as the quality of their products. The result? A faithful following of wholesale and retail customers, with many we count as friends.
Today, president Greta Schuil maintains that same commitment, moving both businesses ahead with her drive and creative vision.
